On behalf of the CARICOM Agriculture Youth Advisory Body (CAYAB), I welcome you to this important six-session regional consultation.
Together, we will review and validate:
- the Revised CAYAB Institutional Framework; and
- the Local Agriculture First Policy (LAFP).
Your insights, experiences and recommendations will help ensure these documents reflect regional priorities, practical realities and the voices of stakeholders across CARICOM.
This process is built on partnership, collaboration and shared responsibility to strengthen institutions, improve market access, encourage innovation, support entrepreneurship and advance food security and sustainable livelihoods.
Meaningful youth participation requires partnership, collaboration and shared responsibility in shaping the future of Caribbean agriculture.
We encourage all participants to contribute actively, share practical experiences, challenge ideas respectfully and help identify solutions that are relevant, inclusive and implementable throughout the Region.
