Living Registry Privacy Notice

This notice explains how CAYAB proposes to collect and use information submitted to the Living Registry during its baseline phase.

What we collect

We collect identity and contact information, location, age band, agrifood roles and interests, enterprise or production readiness, digital access, climate impacts, barriers, support needs and your separate consent choices.

Why we collect it

The information helps CAYAB understand who participates in Caribbean agrifood, establish an evidence baseline, design consultations and programmes, identify readiness and service gaps, and inform development of the proposed CRAIG architecture.

How information is used

Baseline findings may be reported only in de-identified and aggregated form. Your name, contact details and individual answers are not intended for public release. A public profile, verification process or sharing with a programme partner would require an additional purpose-specific process or permission.

Choice and boundaries

You may separately choose whether to receive communications, express interest in future verification, or be contacted about a possible public profile. Joining does not guarantee verification, funding, programme eligibility, market access, procurement eligibility or a contract.

Young participants

Registrants aged 13–17 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. CAYAB should not use Registry registration as a substitute for any additional consent required by a school, programme or activity.

Access, correction and withdrawal

To request access to, correction of, or withdrawal of your Registry information, email caricomyab@gmail.com. Some de-identified statistics already incorporated into aggregate reporting may not be reversible.

Governance status

The Living Registry is a CAYAB initiative. CRAIG remains a proposal under development and is not yet an approved CARICOM platform. This draft operating notice should be reviewed and formally adopted before large-scale data collection.
