CRAIG is being designed as a separate operational platform that can connect trusted identities, readiness, services and opportunities. CAYAB.org will continue to explain and govern the initiative; a future CRAIG portal would handle approved operational services.
One registry, one pathway
The Living Registry remains CAYAB's network and public entry point. Within the proposed CRAIG architecture, it becomes the first voluntary layer from which a user may later choose additional services.
No one becomes a verified supplier simply by joining. Verification, procurement eligibility and contract awards remain separate decisions made under approved rules by competent authorities.
Proposed architecture
CRAIG is conceived as interoperable trust infrastructure, not another centralised database or a replacement for existing national and regional systems.
A voluntary CAYAB profile for youth, producers, students, professionals, organisations and allies—with clear consent choices.
Proposed consent-based credentials for identity, skills, farms, production, business, compliance, learning and performance.
Proposed authorised connections among users, extension, ministries, buyers, training institutions, finance and research.

What a future CRAIG portal would handle
Trust requires boundaries
Creates a voluntary CAYAB network profile with consent choices.
Would require evidence checked or issued by an authorised institution.
Would be determined separately against the rules of each buyer or programme.
Would remain the responsibility of the lawful procurement or programme authority.
Current status
CAYAB is developing the concept, governance, safeguards, interoperability requirements and phased pilot route for consultation with the LoA Committee, CARICOM, Member States and relevant institutions.
The formal expansion of the name CRAIG, permanent ownership, operating institution, partner roles, financing and regional designation all remain subject to consultation and written approval.
